A complete inability to function as a human being

I deal with a lot of people in everyday life, who have some difficulties in being classed as human beings, in my eyes. Some can't behave in a socially acceptable way (and I live in newtown, where almost anything is socially acceptable), some are just generally what I term "dicks". But every now and again you come accross one who's different.

I have spent some time recently trying to discover what to call people who are a combination of all the aspects I hate. You know who I mean, they are narcisistic, self serving, hypocritical, rude, arrogant, vacumns of everything it means to me to be human. And you would be surprised, there are a lot of them, they may be able to hide in from the general public for 5 minutes, or even an hour if they are trying particularly hard, but in the end, when you have enough exposure, they come out and you realise there is not a single thought going on except for "how will ... effect my life" or "how can ... be better for me?"

Well, I can not find a single word to describe these people or how I despise them. And this angers me, because, there are so many that they need a label. We can create a name for a syndrome that affects 2 humans in 7 billion (yes, the worlds population has reached 7 billion, and yes, you can expect to hear about that soon) but this problem, which effects every one of us, has no term. I can't even describe it except as a complete inability to function as a human being. Maybe we could call it ACITFAHB?

These people are dooming us all, they leave lights and TVs on when not around burning fossil fuels, they are lazy and make it harder to get anywhere due to more traffic and even the footpaths are slow because you know they don't walk anywhere, they dawdle, and dilly dally their days away looking at themselves in shop windows. They have no manners, no respect and moan like cheap hookers if you show them no respect back. There has to be a name for them. Please help me, send your suggestions to me, I need to get this resolved so I can put my mind to rest, and start to contemplate my next dilemma, like my complete lack of career path, or inability to hold money. Please, tell me what we can call these people!
